Iyabo Ojo, has spoken out against the mounting pressure directed at Omowunmi, the widow of late rapper, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, to undergo a DNA test to confirm her son’s paternity.
It can be recalled that there has been persistent public demand for the rapper’s widow to conduct a DNA test on her five-month-old son, ostensibly to establish his biological connection to Mohbad.
A businessman, Larry Omodia, even pledged to provide financial support of N10 million for an all-expenses-paid DNA test if she agreed to it.

In response to these developments, Iyabo Ojo expressed her disapproval via a video message shared on her Instagram page, characterizing the calls for a DNA test as “insensitive.”
She urged the public to allow Mohbad’s family to grieve and emphasized that it was solely the prerogative of Mohbad’s parents to request a DNA test if they deemed it necessary.
Iyabo Ojo also underscored the need for sensitivity and compassion in this matter, while questioning the need to subject Mohbad’s wife to bullying and pressure.
