Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice may be in contention for their upcoming Premier League match against Bournemouth this Saturday following concerns over his back.
Rice, a key player for Arsenal, recently experienced discomfort in his back during Sunday’s intense 2-2 draw with Tottenham. This issue led to his substitution at half-time, with Jorginho taking his place on the pitch.
Medical tests were conducted on Monday to determine the extent of Rice’s condition.
While the scans did not reveal a major injury, Rice continues to feel discomfort and is unlikely to participate in the Carabao Cup fixture against Brentford scheduled for Wednesday.

Throughout the week, Rice’s condition will be closely monitored.
This period of assessment will also apply to Leandro Trossard, who missed the draw against Tottenham due to a minor muscle problem.
However, it is anticipated that Rice will recover in time for Arsenal’s crucial match against title rivals Manchester City, scheduled for Sunday, October 8.
The Arsenal coaching staff remains hopeful that Rice’s discomfort will subside, allowing him to make a valuable contribution to the team’s Premier League campaign.
