A significant development has occurred in the case of the tragic murder of Blessing Karami, an undergraduate student of the National Open University of Nigeria in Abuja.

Police have taken into custody a suspect named Aminu, who is believed to have had a relationship with the late Karami.

Blessing Karami went missing on September 11 after she boarded a taxi following her work shift. Her disappearance led to an extensive search effort, and her elder brother, Genesis Moses Karami, played a crucial role in seeking information about her whereabouts.

Genesis Moses Karami received a mysterious call on September 19, which claimed to have details about his sister’s body.

The caller provided a description of the clothing Blessing had worn on the day she went missing, raising suspicions.

However, the caller continued to elude the police as he changed locations, ultimately frustrating the search party.

Blessing Karami’s decomposed body was later discovered in the woods in the Karmo area of the Federal Capital Territory, confirming her tragic fate.

The Federal Capital Territory Police Command Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh, confirmed the police’s unwavering commitment to investigating the circumstances surrounding Blessing Karami’s untimely death.

Adeh stated that they were working closely with the Abuja Environmental Protection Board to respectfully retrieve the remains and provide updates as the investigation progresses.
