A female judge in Cúcuta, Colombia, is facing controversy and potential repercussions after a video surfaced in which she received a lap dance from a muscular man within the confines of a courthouse.

Judge Vivian Polanía was captured in the video sitting in a chair and visibly enjoying the performance as the man performed a lap dance for her.

The incident occurred at the Court of Justice in Cúcuta, Colombia, where Judge Polanía was seen enjoying the performance while seated in a chair. The video also captured the man offering the judge a penis-shaped waffle.

This footage quickly spread online, prompting criticism from legal professionals and public officials who argued that courthouses should not be transformed into venues for such entertainment.

Judge Polanía, however, defended her actions, asserting that the event took place outside of working hours and was part of a Love and Friendship Day celebration.

She insisted that the video was not intended to be sexually explicit but rather a lively and innocent portrayal of the occasion.

In response to the controversy, the Judicial Sectional Council of Norte de Santander and Arauca, in collaboration with the Sectional Directorate of Judicial Administration of Cúcuta, called for the establishment of guidelines to govern the appropriate use of public spaces within courthouses.

This move aimed to address concerns about maintaining the dignity of the justice system.

Legal experts emphasized the need for judges to be subject to public scrutiny, expressing concerns that the video could undermine the integrity of the justice system.

They stressed that courthouses and their common areas should not be utilized for purposes akin to those seen in the video.

Judge Polanía has faced previous scandals, including a three-month suspension for appearing semi-naked and smoking during a video-linked hearing last year.

In 2020, she was investigated for sharing provocative lingerie photos in an attempt to obtain clothing discounts.

The National Judicial Discipline Commission has initiated an investigation into the officials and employees featured in Judge Polanía’s recent video.
