A Nigerian Air Force (NAF) aircraft operating as part of Operation Hadin Kai successfully destroyed a gun truck and eliminated eight terrorists in Baranga village, Marte Local Government Area of Borno.

The airstrike took place during an armed reconnaissance mission in the region.

The Director of Public Relations and Information for NAF, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, stated that this operation is part of the ongoing effort to combat terrorist remnants in the North East.

The strike targeted two armed terrorists on a motorcycle, leading to the destruction of a gun truck carrying eight terrorists who attempted to evade the aircraft under thick vegetation.

This operation reflects the Armed Forces of Nigeria’s commitment to preventing terrorists from freely moving around and attacking civilians in the region.
