President Bola Tinubu has appointed Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, the spokesperson for the Northern Elders Forum, as the Special Adviser on Political Issues in the office of Vice-President Kashim Shettima.

Dr. Baba-Ahmed, who is also the elder brother of the running mate to Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 election, announced this in a post on his Twitter account on Monday.
