In a concerted effort to mitigate flight disruptions and streamline air travel operations, the Federal Government has officially reopened the D Wing of the old international terminal at Lagos’ Murtala Muhammed International Airport.
This move is part of a larger strategy aimed at addressing the mounting challenges faced by travelers and airlines in Nigeria following the abrupt relocation of foreign carriers from the international terminal to a new adjoining terminal last March.

The Minister of Aviation, Mr. Festus Keyamo, made this announcement today, underscoring the government’s dedication to enhancing the aviation sector and ensuring a smooth travel experience for passengers.
The use of the D Wing for passenger processing has already commenced,” according to a statement by the Director of Public Affairs & Consumer Protection, FAAN, Abdullahi Yakubu-Funtua.
