In a recent episode of her podcast, Toke Makinwa, a Nollywood actress, shared her belief that men do not appreciate women who are overly nice.

She expressed the view that when women are too accommodating and kind, men tend to perceive them as gullible.

During the podcast, Toke was joined by her guest, Bukunmi Adeaga Ilori (Kiekie), a skit maker, who offered her perspective on the matter.

Kiekie disagreed with Toke’s statement and suggested that men appreciate being gently reminded of their responsibilities.

She shared a personal example of how her husband would sometimes forget to take their child to daycare, but when she reminded him, he appreciated it and eventually incorporated it into his routine.

Toke Makinwa maintained her stance, suggesting that Kiekie’s husband might be more receptive to correction because he is “easy,” while implying that most men are not as responsive to such reminders.
