Senegalese-American singer Akon has openly declared himself “the stingiest man on the planet” and justified this attribute as a means to sustain his wealth.

This revelation came during his appearance on the latest episode of the Impulsive Podcast.

Akon’s advice to maintain wealth centers around the principle of frugality, emphasizing the importance of being thrifty and cautious with expenditures.

In his own words, Akon stated, “If you want to stay rich, stay stingy. I’m the stingiest man on the planet.”

He further cautioned his colleagues and fans against the luxury of owning a private jet, pointing out the exorbitant costs associated with its maintenance.

According to him, maintaining a private jet can set you back 2-3 million dollars annually, surpassing the initial cost of the jet itself.
