Troops rescue kidnapped pregnant woman

Troops from Operation SAFE HAVEN (OPSH) on Operation HAKORIN DAMISA IV successfully rescued a pregnant woman who had been kidnapped, along with four other victims.

These operations took place in both Plateau and Kaduna States.

Captain Oya James, the Media Information Officer for the operation, issued a statement detailing the rescue mission.

The kidnapped individuals, including the pregnant woman, Alhaji Buba Musa, Friday Luka, Joy Sunday, and Marachi Chimeze, were safely recovered from various locations, including Munguna, Kuba, Kagoro, and Igai villages in Plateau and Kaduna States.

In addition to the rescue mission, troops responded to a distress call and prevented a criminal attack in the Rokwat and Mararaban Kantoma villages in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.

They also effectively managed and contained a reprisal attack in the Ruga Fulani at Danhausa village.

During their operations, troops apprehended an individual named Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed for his involvement in car theft at Kamuru village in Zango Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

They recovered 11 empty cases and rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition while responding to a kidnapping incident at Angware village in Jos East, Plateau State.
