Three individuals, who posed as personnel from the Gallantry Intelligence Corps of Nigeria in Isolo, Lagos State, have been apprehended by Nigerian Navy Ship Beecroft.
The arrest was made following reports of their alleged fraudulent activities.
The suspects, identified as Oladele Daniel (23), Eriwole Ogunlana (24), and Mubarak Mayegun (24), were found dressed in black berets and Navy blue combat attire.
They were accused of parading around the area with posters featuring the image of the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral EI Ogalla, and claiming a collaboration between the Navy and their security outfit to deceive and defraud the public.

Commodore Kolawole Oguntuga, the Commander of NNS Beecroft, announced the significant operation and emphasized its purpose was to prevent the public from being swindled.
The impostors were apprehended on September 1, 2023, and will now face further investigation and prosecution by the police.
