Umar Bangari, the Chief Registrar of the Court of Appeal Headquarters, officially conveyed this development through a statement.
He also disclosed the specific date set for the judgment, which is slated for September 6, 2023.
The statement specified the cases that would be addressed: CA/PEPC/03/2023 involving Mr. Peter Gregory Obi & Anor versus Independent National Electoral Commission & 3 Ors, CA/PEPC/04/2023 between Allied Peoples Movement versus Independent National Electoral Commission & 4 Ors, and CA/PEPC/05/2023 between Abubakar Atiku & Anor versus Independent National Electoral Commission & 2 Ors.

The Court of Appeal’s decision to televise these judgments aligns with its commitment to promoting transparency and openness in the judicial process.
By allowing interested television stations to broadcast the proceedings, the court aims to provide the general public with the opportunity to closely follow and scrutinize the judgments.
However, the statement also clarified that access to the courtroom on the day of the judgment would be restricted to accredited individuals, including legal counsel and representatives of political parties involved in the cases.
The court emphasized that entry to the court premises would be granted exclusively to those with proper accreditation.
