During their collaboration on one of Burna Boy’s tracks for his latest album, ‘I Told Them,’ J. Cole referred to the Nigerian artist as the legendary Tupac Shakur, a name synonymous with American hip-hop.
Tupac Shakur, an iconic American rapper, tragically lost his life in 1996. Burna Boy revealed that J. Cole had likened him to Tupac, calling him “Tupac reincarnated in Africa.”
This unexpected comparison left Burna Boy momentarily taken aback, prompting him to look around to confirm that he was the subject of the statement.

Burna Boy shared this interesting tidbit during an appearance on the Rap Radar Podcast hosted by Elliott Wilson.
