MMIA to be shut down by FG from October 1

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has issued a directive for all international airlines to temporarily leave the Murtala Mohammed International Airport by October 1, 2023.

The purpose of this action is to facilitate comprehensive maintenance work at the airport.

Keyamo made this announcement while inspecting the international airports in Lagos, accompanied by Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria’s Managing Director, Kabir Yusuf Mohammed.
