Bauchi governor mandates school closure following murder of teenage boy

Bauchi State Governor, Sen. Bala Mohammed, has instructed the swift closure of the school where the lifeless body of a teenage boy, Mohammed Abidin Musa, was discovered.

The unfortunate incident involved the suspected removal of some of Musa’s vital organs by ritualists. However, specific details about the incident remain unclear at this time.

Governor Mohammed issued this directive during a condolence visit to the victim’s family in Gidan Bare-Bari.

He was accompanied by the State Commissioner of Police, Awal Musa Mohamed, and Department of State Services (DSS) personnel.

Expressing his sympathy to the family, the Governor urged parents to be vigilant regarding their children’s activities.

He further instructed security agencies to heighten their efforts in apprehending the culprits responsible for this heinous act.

As part of the investigation process, the school will remain closed.

Governor Mohammed affirmed that his administration would collaborate closely with security agencies to ensure that those responsible for the crime are brought to justice.
