The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has taken into custody a driver found using both foreign and Nigerian number plates on a single vehicle.

The driver, operating a Volkswagen Golf 3, displayed a Kano number plate (BBJ746AA) at the front and a foreign plate (CV 51UMC) at the rear of the vehicle.

The arrest took place within the Idu operational zone of the corps located in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, after a tactical team gathered relevant intelligence.

The impounded Volkswagen and the driver have been transferred to the Life Camp Divisional Police Command for further investigation and potential prosecution.

The FRSC, led by Corps Marshal Dauda Ali Biu, is intensifying efforts nationwide to crackdown on improperly registered and unstable vehicles, with ongoing special operations and patrols aimed at apprehending such offenders.
