Chicago State University in the United States has reportedly made its X page private following alleged inquiries from Nigerians about whether President Bola Tinubu truly graduated from the institution.
This comes in the wake of a petition by Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in a U.S. court seeking information about Tinubu’s academic records at the university.
The X page, which was previously public, now displays a message stating that posts are protected and only confirmed followers can access them.

Earlier reports had confirmed Tinubu’s attendance at the university, and the Office of the Registrar’s Beverly Poindexter had directed to the studentclearinghouse.org website for formal requests regarding his attendance.
A 1999 letter from the university’s Registrar also affirmed Tinubu’s attendance and awarded him a degree in Business and Administration with honors.
Tinubu’s academic qualifications have been under scrutiny, particularly following the 2023 general election.
