Musa Mohammed, a resident of Gidan Damo village, provided chilling details about the recent attack by gunmen on their community.
He revealed that the assailants abducted four women and four children, while also causing the deaths of four individuals and leaving numerous villagers injured.
In a phone interview with reporters Mohammed recounted the chaos and panic that ensued as villagers scrambled to escape the violence.

He mentioned that the attackers moved systematically from house to house, selecting their victims. The grim outcome revealed that seven individuals had been shot, with four losing their lives immediately.
The attack occurred after evening prayers on Wednesday, with gunshots ringing out as the terrorists infiltrated the village.
Residents fled to the safety of the bush, with little time to comprehend the unfolding events.
The bandits’ actions resulted in the abduction of the women and children, leaving the community in shock and distress.
Efforts to obtain a statement from the State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Yazeed Abdulahi, were unsuccessful as he did not answer calls for comment.
