Paris St-Germain has reached an agreement to transfer Brazil forward Neymar to Saudi Pro League team Al-Hilal for around 90 million euros (£77.6 million) plus potential additional payments.
The move is contingent upon the 31-year-old successfully undergoing a medical examination and completing all required documentation.
Neymar, who became part of PSG in 2017 for a record-breaking fee of £200 million, was omitted from the squad for the Ligue 1 draw against Lorient on Saturday.
He was excluded from coach Luis Enrique’s plans for the new season.

The departure of Neymar aligns with PSG’s strategy of transitioning away from the ‘Galacticos’ era of signing high-profile players for substantial fees and salaries, a trend that saw Lionel Messi also leave the club earlier this summer.
Neymar was reportedly earning approximately 25 million euros (£21.6 million) annually during his time with the French club.
In Saudi Arabia, he is set to earn a reported 150 million euros (£129.2 million) per year, a figure six times higher than his PSG earnings.
During his tenure at PSG, Neymar contributed to 13 trophy wins, including five Ligue 1 titles, and helped the team reach the 2020 Champions League final.
However, his time in Paris was marred by a series of ankle injuries.
