Nollywood filmmaker, Biodun Stephen, has shared her personal battle with depression stemming from her struggles to secure acting opportunities in the industry.

During an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Biodun revealed that she faced overwhelming challenges and emotional distress due to her inability to land acting roles.

Recalling her difficult past, Biodun discussed how her frustration and depression led her to step away from acting.

She expressed feeling disheartened by unsuccessful auditions and the sight of others being chosen for roles while she was left behind.

Biodun admitted that the experience was deeply distressing and even caused her to avoid watching TV altogether.

As a result of her ordeal, Biodun decided to temporarily put aside her acting aspirations, believing that the industry might not be the right fit for her.
