‘Repentant’ Boko Haram member caught on his way to Sambisa Forest with supplies for terror group

A “rehabilitated” former Boko Haram member, who had been reintegrated into the Bama community in Borno State, has been captured while en route to Sambisa Forest to deliver essential supplies to the Boko Haram terrorist group.

The individual, identified as Zagazola Makama, was apprehended along with two accomplices at Barraram Village, also known as Daula Merket, according to a counter-insurgency report.

The three ex-terrorists, once considered repentant and residing within the Bama community, have been found to have been providing crucial support to the terrorists, including food, fuel, motorcycle parts, and other logistics.

This incident is not isolated; Bama town has witnessed numerous cases of formerly rehabilitated individuals collaborating with terrorists against the Nigerian Army troops, as stated in the report.
