Police rescue nine children from cult initiation in Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command successfully intervened to rescue a nine-year-old boy, the youngest among a group of eight other children, from being initiated into a cult in the Mushin area of Lagos.

The group of boys, all male, with the oldest being 14 years old, was saved from the initiation process.

Benjamin Hundeyin, the State Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the incident and emphasized the ongoing investigation.

In light of this event, Hundeyin stressed the importance of strengthening the family unit, highlighting the need to support families in order to prevent such occurrences.
