Osimhen will not be sold for €200 million – De Laurentiis

Napoli President, Aurelio De Laurentiis, has stated that their star player, Victor Osimhen, will not be sold this summer, even if an offer of €200 million is met.

De Laurentiis shared this information during a conversation with Napoli Ultras at a retreat prior to the team’s training in Abruzzo.

The club president emphasized his determination to secure Osimhen’s future with Napoli by negotiating a new contract extension, aiming to keep the player at the club.

De Laurentiis affirmed, “I’m not selling Osimhen even for €200 million. And he is not leaving.”

Meanwhile, Osimhen had to cut short a training session due to a sprained ankle resulting from a collision with his teammate. It remains uncertain whether he will participate in Napoli’s final pre-season match.

Osimhen’s outstanding performance last season, finishing as the league’s top scorer with 26 goals, earned him the coveted Golden Boot award.

Napoli is currently preparing for their Serie A title defense and is set to begin their season against Frosinone.
