Simisola Kosoko, popularly known as Simi, has expressed her distress over the severe economic challenges prevailing in Nigeria.

The renowned Duduke singer revealed that the state of affairs in the country weighs heavily on her heart each day.

She questioned how Nigerians are managing to endure the current economic hardships.

Simi took to her Twitter account to share her sentiments, stating, “Nigeria just breaks my heart a little more everyday. How are people surviving?”

Recent events have contributed to the worsening economic situation, including a surge in fuel prices to N612 per litre following the removal of petrol subsidies by President Bola Tinubu.

As a result, the cost of living and food prices have risen substantially across the country.
