The unidentified dispatch rider who leaped into the Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge lagoon on August 8 has been discovered deceased.

The Lagos State Emergency and Rescue team successfully retrieved his body today, August 10.

Earlier reports indicated that the individual was observed jumping from the bridge on Tuesday afternoon.

His body was located and identified today, then handled by the State Environmental Health Management Unit (SEHMU) before being taken to the morgue for further proceedings.
