Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, expressed gratitude to Allah as four women kidnapped seven months ago were rescued and received at the Government House.

The women had appeared in a video appealing for the Governor’s help, which triggered a swift response leading to their freedom.

Governor Lawal assured the rescued victims that they will be fully reintegrated into society, with all their needs provided.

He also emphasized the government’s determination to end kidnapping and banditry in the state, calling for collective responsibility and cooperation from citizens to provide security information.

The Zamfara State Director of the Department of State Service officially handed over the rescued victims to the Governor for their subsequent reunion with their families.
