Chelsea Football Club has officially announced the signing of French international defender Axel Disasi from Monaco.

The centre-back, who has an impressive record of 130 appearances in Ligue 1 and four caps for France, has agreed to a six-year contract with the club.

At 25 years old, Disasi brings both experience and potential to the team, having been part of the French squad during the previous World Cup.

Expressing his delight to join Chelsea, Disasi said he is eager to be a part of the club’s ambitious goals and aims to win titles with the team.

The co-sporting directors of Chelsea, Laurence Stewart, and Paul Winstanley, also praised Disasi’s quality and international recognition, believing he is ready for the next phase of his career at Chelsea.

The signing is part of manager Mauricio Pochettino’s efforts to revamp the squad after a challenging Premier League season, and the team is gearing up for their first match against Liverpool on August 13.
