On Tuesday afternoon, a helicopter crash occurred near a United Bank for Africa branch in the Oba Akran area of Ikeja, Lagos State, putting four people in a life-threatening situation.
The chopper was being used for training when it collided with a building and burst into flames.
Fortunately, all occupants managed to survive, though they sustained various injuries.
The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Services confirmed the incident and stated that the injured individuals were receiving medical attention.
The helicopter’s escort motorized team, following the training routine exercise, quickly responded to the scene. More details regarding the cause of the crash will be provided later.
