Wizkid mistakenly throws N85m ring to fans at Tottenham Stadium show (VIDEO)

Grammy award-winning Nigerian musician, Wizkid, reportedly flung his expensive ring into the crowd while attempting to throw his jacket during his sold-out show at Tottenham Stadium in London, UK, on Saturday night.

According to British-Nigerian podcaster Adesope Olajide, the ring is valued at £100,000 (approximately N85 million).

Adesope expressed regret for leaving the front row when the ring fell, recalling how he had managed to catch Zlatan Ibile and Diamond Platnumz’s rings at their previous concerts.

He revealed this during an Instagram live session with his fans.

Despite the ring mishap, Wizkid’s historic concert became the first by an African artist to fill the 80,000-capacity Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Previously, Burna Boy had accomplished a similar feat by selling out London Stadium last month, making him the second African artist to achieve a stadium sell-out in the United Kingdom.

The show was attended by football stars Bukayo Saka, Alex Iwobi, and Eddie Nketiah.
