President Bola Tinubu is presiding over the decoration ceremony of the newly appointed Chief of Defense Staff, Major General Christopher Musa, as well as the Chiefs of Army, Naval, and Air Staff, as they assume their new ranks.

This event is taking place at the President’s office, exactly six weeks after their appointment on June 19, 2023.

The officers being decorated are Major General Taoreed Lagbaja as the Chief of Army Staff, Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla as the Chief of Naval Staff, and Air Vice Marshall Hassan Abubakar as the Chief of Air Staff.
