The Kano State Government has pledged its determination to finalize the five-kilometer dual carriageway projects that were left incomplete by the previous governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, in all 44 local government areas of the state.
During a courtesy visit by the State Correspondents’ Chapel, the Commissioner for Works, Housing, and Infrastructure, Marwan Ahmad, assured that the current government, led by Governor Abba Yusuf, will prioritize the completion of these road projects to enhance transportation within the local government headquarters.
The state government also intends to reopen the 26 schools that were shut down by the previous administration, recognizing their vital role in the social and economic development of the state.
Many of these educational institutions have provided employment opportunities for unemployed women and youths.
