In Misau Local Government Area of Bauchi State, a 19-year-old woman, Hajara Usman, has been apprehended by the police for her alleged involvement in stealing a newborn baby.

It is said that she conspired with an 18-year-old man, Ibrahim Usman, to commit the crime.

The incident was reported by a resident of Galawa Area in Akuyam District, who stated that his daughter’s newborn baby was taken from her apartment at 4:30 am.

Promptly responding to the report, a team of detectives swung into action and successfully arrested the suspects.

The stolen baby was found in the possession of Hajara Usman, and the investigation is ongoing to uncover the motives behind the theft.

Once the inquiry is concluded, the suspects will be charged accordingly.
