Forensic testing conducted on bullet cartridges found in searched LV home linked to Tupac Shakur’s murder

Authorities have sent bullet cartridges found at a Henderson, Nevada home for forensic testing in relation to the unsolved murder of Tupac Shakur.

Las Vegas Metro Police discovered several .40-caliber bullets during their search at the residence last week. Eleven .40 caliber bullet cartridges were recovered and are being examined in a forensics lab to determine if they match the bullets taken from Tupac Shakur’s body.

While it’s unlikely that the cartridges will be a direct match, they do match the “make” of the murder weapon used in the shooting of Shakur, a reported S&W Glock 22. The history and age of the bullet cartridges remain unclear.

In addition to the cartridges, authorities also seized manuscripts, computers, phones, digital storage devices, and a copy of ‘Vibe magazine’ on Tupac during the search.

The home is connected to Duane “Keefe D.” Davis, a man directly linked to the crime scene where Shakur was shot on September 7, 1996.
