Oshiomhole condemns N30,000 minimum wage, reveals paying his cleaner N60,000

Edo North Senator, Adams Oshiomhole, has expressed strong criticism towards the current N30,000 minimum wage in Nigeria, deeming it a “criminal wage.”

During an appearance on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, Oshiomhole cited his own actions as an example, stating that he pays his cleaner a monthly salary of N60,000, which he believes is a more appropriate wage.

He emphasized that the existing minimum wage is inadequate for workers, pointing out the struggles faced by his cleaner who is responsible for four children.

Oshiomhole’s remarks highlight his concern for fair wages and the need to improve the living standards of workers in the country.
