The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) reported that they have successfully neutralized 22 terrorists operating in Batsari and Jibia local government areas of Katsina State.

The operation, conducted on Monday, July 17, was carried out by the Air Component of Operation Hadarin Daji.

The terrorists were predominantly foot soldiers of the notorious terrorist kingpin, Abdulkareen Lawal, popularly known as Abdulkareen Boss.

Earlier, Abdulkareen Boss was killed by air strikes in the Ruga forest in Katsina on August 5, 2022, following his alleged involvement in the killing of a Nigerian Police Area Commander in Dutsin Ma on July 5, 2022.

The NAF confirmed the success of the recent airstrikes conducted in response to intelligence reports on the terrorists’ activities.
