NBA star LeBron James has dispelled any doubts about his future in basketball, declaring that he is not yet ready to retire and maintains his passion for the sport.
After the Los Angeles Lakers lost in the Western Conference finals in May, there were reports suggesting James was contemplating walking away from the game.
However, during his speech at the ESPY awards ceremony, James reassured everyone that he has no intentions of quitting.
He emphasized his commitment to the game, stating that as long as he can continue giving his all on the court, he will keep playing.
James also expressed how coaching his sons and their teammates fuels his enthusiasm for basketball.
The 39-year-old superstar signed a contract extension with the Lakers last year, keeping him with the team until the 2024-2025 season.
