Kidnapped APC chairman in Ekiti state regains freedom, three suspects arrested

Paul Omotoso, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, who was abducted by gunmen along the Imesi Ekiti – Agbado Ekiti Road last Saturday, has been released.

He regained his freedom on Wednesday night and has been reunited with his family.

The Ekiti State police spokesperson, ASP Sunday Abutu, confirmed Omotoso’s release and informed that three suspects have been apprehended in connection with the kidnapping.

The arrested individuals are providing valuable information that may aid in the arrest of the main suspects who are still at large.

The successful outcome was achieved through the collaborative efforts of the police, other security agencies, local security outfits, family members, and the Ekiti State Government.
