Tiwa Savage, the Nigerian singer, opened up about her initial nervousness that almost affected her performance at the coronation of British monarch King Charles III.
In May, Tiwa Savage made history as the first Nigerian artist to perform at a British royal event, captivating the audience at the coronation concert and Big Lunch held at Windsor Castle.
During an appearance on Good Morning Britain TV Show, Tiwa Savage admitted to feeling nervous in the first few seconds of her performance on the prestigious stage.
However, she quickly overcame her nerves as she began singing and allowed herself to be swept away by the crowd.
Tiwa Savage also expressed her admiration for the British Queen Consort, Camilla, describing her as “very lovely.”
Prior to her historic performance, Tiwa Savage had the opportunity to meet with the Queen Consort at the coronation ceremony.
