Former Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell has advised the club to offload their forward Folarin Balogun for a transfer fee of £50 million, while also including a buy-back clause in the deal.
Balogun, who represents the United States internationally, is seeking more playing time in the upcoming season and has been linked with a departure from the Emirates Stadium.
After an impressive loan spell at Stade Reims in Ligue 1 last season, where he scored 21 goals in 37 league matches, Balogun has returned to Arsenal.
However, with Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah ahead of him in the pecking order, his chances of regular first-team football under Mikel Arteta might be limited.
Campbell suggests that Arsenal should consider selling Balogun for a substantial fee, preferably £50 million, while including a buy-back clause.
The reported asking price by Arsenal for Balogun is approximately £35 million.
