Three individuals have been arrested by the Ondo State Police Command following the alleged murder of a naval officer known as Akingbohunmi in the Idoani community of the Ose Local Government Area.

Reports suggest that Akingbohunmi was attacked by a group of hoodlums during a dispute with a commercial motorcyclist.

Despite being rushed to the hospital for urgent medical attention, the officer succumbed to his life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead by the attending doctor.

Acting on a tip-off, community leaders organized a search party that successfully apprehended the suspects in various locations within and outside the community.

While three suspects are currently in custody, authorities are actively pursuing the arrest of three more individuals involved in the incident.

Many male residents of the community remain reluctant to return due to fear of arrest.
