Burna Boy, the Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer, expressed that he believes he doesn’t receive adequate recognition, despite being “the best in the world.”

During a gathering with industry experts, including show promoter Smade and podcaster Shopsydoo, after his performance at the Afronation festival in Portugal, Burna Boy shared that he is not bothered by the lack of recognition because even Jesus didn’t receive his due credit until after his death.

In a viral video, Smade praised Burna Boy, stating that he doesn’t get enough credit.

Burna Boy responded by comparing himself to Jesus and acknowledging that he doesn’t receive enough credits either.

Shopsydoo added that it’s no longer just about Afrobeats but about achieving worldwide domination in the music industry.
