Social media is buzzing with excitement over a new claim that popular Nigerian singer Davido Adeleke, known as Davido, allegedly impregnated a United States businesswoman named Anita Brown but has refused to acknowledge the pregnancy.

Anita, who first came to public attention on Sunday with her claims, has resurfaced with evidence to support her allegations.

She has released multiple screenshots of chats between herself and Davido’s cousin, Clarks Adeleke, as well as the singer himself, disproving claims that their encounter was a one-night stand.

Anita states that she met Davido in Dubai in 2017 and they had an on-and-off relationship until the pandemic, during which they were in a long-term relationship.

The released chat screenshots reveal Davido admitting to having unprotected sex with Anita and asking her to handle the pregnancy discreetly, like other girls in the past.

The conversations between Anita and Clarks also indicate his promise to advise Davido on taking responsibility for the child.

Anita addresses the trolls who have subjected her to name-calling, stating that she was unaware of Davido’s marital status as there was no indication of it on his social media platforms.

It should be noted that Davido got married to his longtime girlfriend, Chioma Rowland, in January 2023.

Their marriage followed the tragic loss of their son, Ifeanyi, who drowned in their family pool at their Banana Island residence.

Some express sympathy for Chioma, believing that Davido’s marriage to her was a consolation for their loss and criticize him for causing pain and humiliation.
