The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced the declaration of Wednesday, June 28th, and Thursday, June 29th, 2023, as public holidays in honor of the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
In an official statement released by Oluwatoyin Akinlade, a Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Interior, the government extended heartfelt greetings to the Muslim Ummah both within the country and abroad.
Akinlade called upon Muslims and all Nigerians to embrace the spirit of sacrifice for the betterment and progress of their communities and the nation as a whole.
The statement expressed optimism that the prayers and sacrifices made during this festive season would foster peace, unity, and advancement across Nigeria.
