Nuhu Ribadu assumes national security adviser role, succeeding Monguno

Nuhu Ribadu has officially taken on the role of National Security Adviser (NSA) with a firm commitment to combat insecurity and restore stability in Nigeria.

Appointed by President Bola Tinubu on June 19, Ribadu succeeded retired Maj.-General Babagana Monguno.

He emphasized the immense responsibility of the Tinubu administration to secure the nation, stabilize it, and ensure peace across all regions.

Ribadu expressed his intention to build upon previous efforts and work with all stakeholders, acknowledging that securing the country is a collective endeavor.

He solicited the cooperation of servicemen and women, as well as all Nigerians, emphasizing the need for unity in achieving the administration’s goals of a stable, peaceful, and prosperous Nigeria.

Monguno praised Ribadu’s qualifications and deep understanding of the security challenges, expressing confidence in his ability to handle them effectively.

He urged the staff to extend support and cooperation to Ribadu to achieve national objectives.
