This represented a depreciation of 0.66% compared to the previous day’s exchange rate of N765.13/$. The open indicative rate for the Naira closed at N759.13/$.

Throughout the day’s trading, the Naira reached a high of N801/$ before settling at N770.17/$. However, the Naira also reached a low of 461.10/$ during the day.

The total volume of trading at the official investors’ and exporters’ window amounted to $125.47 million on Friday.
