President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to engage in bilateral meetings with leaders from France, the United States, Sweden, and other countries during the Paris Financial Pact Summit starting on Thursday.
The meetings, requested by Tinubu’s counterparts or their delegations, are seen as a result of his administration’s recent economic policies since assuming office.
Dele Alake, the Special Adviser to the President on Special Duties, Communication, and Strategy, revealed that various international financial institutions are also eager to meet with Tinubu.
The two-day summit presents an opportunity for Tinubu, on his first foreign trip since inauguration, to network and attract foreign direct investment to Nigeria.
The discussions will focus on fostering economic growth, addressing climate change, supporting vulnerable countries, and facilitating the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. Tinubu is expected to return on Saturday.
