Grammy award-winning Nigerian artist, Ayodeji Balogun, widely known as Wizkid, has declared that music is ingrained in his way of life.

In a recent interview with popular UK-based afrobeats podcaster, Shopsydoo, in London, Wizkid expressed his constant desire to enhance his sound, videos, and overall production to reach new heights.

He stated, “I sleep, breathe, eat, sh*t music. I’m always trying to elevate my craft from my sound, my videos, my productions, everything to a whole new level.”

Wizkid also acknowledged feeling blessed to be a prominent figure in the global afrobeats movement, expressing gratitude for his musical journey.

The artist emphasized how becoming an involved father has positively influenced him and hinted at surprises in store for his fans.
