In a statement released by the Special Adviser to the Speaker on Media and Publicity, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Tajudeen Abbas, congratulated Malam Nuhu Ribadu, the new National Security Adviser, as well as the appointed Service Chiefs and acting Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service.

The Speaker expressed his belief that these appointments, subject to the National Assembly’s approval, would bring a positive impact to Nigeria’s security architecture.

He also commended President Bola Tinubu for his bold decision, emphasizing the importance of the appointees’ experience in transforming the security system.
