Bimbo Ademoye, a popular Nollywood actress, has shared her experience of facing exploitation in the early stages of her career due to her curvaceous physique.

In an interview with Sun Newspaper, she revealed that movie producers wanted her to portray seductive and promiscuous roles because of her attractive body, but she chose to decline those offers.

Ademoye credited Uduak Isong for giving her a breakthrough by offering her a role that showcased her talent in a different light.

Since then, her career has flourished, and she has received numerous opportunities to showcase her comedic skills.

Ademoye’s talent and versatility were recognized at the 2023 African Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) where she won the Best Actress in Comedy category.
