2Baba, the Nigerian singer also known as Innocent Idibia, has shared the reason behind his construction of a multi-million naira music studio at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in Ile-Ife, Osun State.

During a breakfast chat organized by The 2baba Foundation in Lagos State, he expressed his motivation to reciprocate the university’s kind gesture towards him.

Upon receiving an honorary degree as a Fellow of the School of Music at OAU, he felt deeply honored and promised to establish a top-notch music studio for the institution.

The purpose behind this initiative is to provide students with a high-quality space for creative expression, with the hope that future music superstars will emerge from there.

He revealed that his upcoming album will be produced in the newly built studio.
